The International Student Welcome Programme has been organised to introduce you to living and studying in the UK and, specifically, at Queen Mary, University of London. It is open to all international students and is free to attend - but you do need to register to book a place in advance. We will run workshops and presentations with lots of useful information- from registering with the police, immigration advice and banking, to where to buy food, keeping fit and finding part-time work.
All new international students are invited and we hope that you decide to join us, however please be aware that if your academic department or school has scheduled meetings or events at the same time as the International Student Welcome Programme you must attend those events. Please note, if you are on an Associate Programme/ Study Abroad programme of 6 months or less, there will be a separate induction programme for you – for more details please click here.
